Well its pretty hard respecting LEDs when they are more expensive than their counter part yet inferior picture.

for instance... If you compare Samsungs models

PND7000 plasma performs like the UND8000 LED but costs the same as UND6000 LED which is retarded

i like samsung's motion interpolation which all plasmas lack, please remember to take perspective into account as well when speaking of picture quality, some people prefer sony's 'soft' picture on their lcds

Hey guys i'm looking for some help with pc audio speakers. I would use the system mostly for gaming and listening to music. I would like a 5.1 system.

I have a 1300$ budget but if I can be pleased with speakers worth less it is perfect for me! I want a system that is powerful AND that can produce a beautiful sound. I will, but rarely, listen to movies on my PC.

What should I get? I thought about getting the logitech z5500 but I have heard a lot of good AND bad reviews about them so I am not sure if I should get them...

thanks!

Edit: I thought I could add that the best speakers that I have owned are the z623 from logitech.

I'm looking at it with an objective opinion. You can "prefer" a look all you want. If you "prefer" inferior picture that sure is weird. Its like preferring a lower resolution..

If your budget is $1300 stay away from everything called Logitech :P

I'd go for a receiver + 5.1 surround package from an audiophile company. Great receivers: Denon AVR-1912 (like $400-500).

You could consider starting off with a stereo setup ? e.g. B&W DM685s and a decent sub woofer, then save up for a centre channel and two rears.

then again, if this is for a PC setup you might want something smaller. KEF KHT3005 5.1, B&W MT25 and Cambridge MINX series are worth mentioning.

Best 5 headphones on CNET. I can agree with the Klipsch S4 at #1. Shure's @ #2 seem fantastic.

What's Bose doing there though :S
