Look at the amount of time of possession. they wore the defense down. Penalties hurt the Falcons in the last quarter.

No I don't. I don't think the Falcons would even have a chance.
Color me surprised when I turned on the game in the 3rd quarter and saw the score.

I was almost ready to believe that I was massively mistaken about the PATS ability. Then came the 4th quarter, and the PATS all of a sudden became football players...again.

Yeah same. I was like: "Oh man! They might actually do it!! YES!! BEAT THE PATRIOTS!!" And then the Patriots started playing like the Patriots. Maybe they were secretly trolling?

I thought the PATS should have won...like 56 to 7 or something.

For everyone else. I am a Steeler fan. I think the Steeler game was rigged too. Not like you might think. I don't think they rig them for just ANY reason. I think they rig them and other sports as well, to get the most money out of the event.

The PATS should have won, they were the better team. So the big muckity mucks, said OK, what can we do this game/year, that won't be totally obvious. The PATS have to win, but how can we drag it out, and make it exciting enough, that everyone will watch and see the commercials, all the way to the end.

This time, they weren't as clever as they usually are. Either that or Brady isn't the actor they thought him to be. Brady's eyes gave it away.

That game really was like some B grade SF movie where pod people took over the PATS for 3 quarters. Then the good guy scientists, figured it out destroyed the pod PATS, rescued the real PATS and got them back to the game in time for the 4th quarter.



/e I also think that every time I watch the Steelers they lose...so I don't really watch any football. But that doesn't mean I can't look at the scores, replays etc., after the games.

I always watch the Super Bowl unless the Steelers are playing. Mainly because they put nothing but crap on TV w/e the Super Bowl is on.

I'm sure they have much better things to do than to ask an entire team to throw a game. Basically, your saying that every player on that team is sacrificing millions of dollars worth of bonuses to throw a game. These player's greed would never allow them to do that.

Losing players gets a $53,000 bonus while players who win will get $107,000 as bonuses. So, would you give up $54,000 to throw a game? I think not.

I didn't watch it. I just think all pro sports games are rigged. I didn't always think so, but I was younger then. I don't think I'd realized just how far ppl will go for money.

Not things like bonuses. With the amount of money pro players are paid...bonuses, are just petty cash to them.


I honestly believe that the whole season is scripted, to a point. Obviously you can't script exactly how each play turns out. But I do think the overall seasons...are scripted.
There's just too much money generated by selling commercial time, for the owners not to try to make the whole season exciting to the fans.
Not to mention things like season tickets, the gate, the sales of game related items, etc.

It's like a religion by now. Ppl actually get in fights over the results. Many ppl bet on the games and many bet everything they own on the results. The owners would be insane not to assure that the fans get their monies worth.


Just the way I see it. Don't get your panties in a bunch or anything.
