So expensive for a 1080... unless you live in California or New Jersey, you could get a 1080 ti for like $100 more lol.

My i7-7700k and EKWB kit: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAC8W4Z05624&cm_re=ekwb-_-1YF-006K-00002-_-Product are on the way :)

how well does these kits hold up to buying separately and making a kit?
I mean price wise is it really worth it?

vega 64 prob better than 1080 after a few drivers, prob gonna cost less too

you made a mistake buying a 1080 right now because a month ago ish they sold for 380-400 lol

dummy

That was in May they sold that cheap, and Vega 64 is poo on a stick.

That 1080 is overpriced, though. Hope that's Canada.

It's better to buy parts separately and putting everything together yourself if you know what you're doing and comfortable with it. The benefit of the kit is that a lot of it comes pre-assembled and you have to do less work.

The parts in that EKWB kit are supposed to be pretty good though, the Performance series is just a step below the Extreme. I considered getting this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAC8W4Z05631&cm_re=ekwb-_-2YM-0010-00027-_-Product for like $20 more, but that one has a really thick radiator and would be really tight and barely fit in my Corsair 760T case.

I'm well aware its a simpler process I was more or less wondering if its a good value for the money vs buy in parts urself.

Meh the GCs were free to me.
Also I really gave Vega 64 a thought before buying the 1080.
Higher power consumption, performance is barely better for that price, right now higher price since they price gouged, I need a new monitor for 144hz, OOS with no clue when it's going to restock.
I'm on my burner 6770 here :c
