I got a new optical drive yesterday. My old one died after 5 or so years.

Many many years ago.. I bought a DVD drive specifically so I could play Advent Rising... Was IDE

Later on, When I upgraded my pc down the road.. The new mobo was Sata, Couldnt use my optical drive.

Havent had one since :lol:

i use a pci ide card with my lga 1150 mobo so i can continue to keep my 3.5" floppy disk drive hooked up.
idk why
i just can't let go

til i use an OS that can't even recognize it, I guess.

I keep a external on hand for trouble shooting, also for netbooks.
