Gah can't decide if i should wait or buy a camera now. Going to St. Maarten want a decent camera thinking the Olympus tg-3 but there's only red available and it kinda looks pink...

When does geek squad not get bashed?
I went to best buy the other day cos my friend was price matching an item that got denied, but I overheard a geek tell wrong info to this lady that had no clue about computers.

She had her sons computer spec on paper, and the dude said he needs a whole new computer cos his ram is ddr3 with no gpu, and gpus now are ddr5 so they aren't compatible

Guy was dumb then, bad store managers will lead to bad employees. Mistakes happen but nothing like that has happened at my store since i started there which is about 16 months.

Now my question is, did you actually over hear it or you just jumping on the bandwagon of hate?

there would be no hate if they weren't so noob in the first place, and taking advantage of non tech savvy customers.

I told him and the lady, he was wrong but he got all defensive and shit.
so i used THEIR shitty prebuilt demo computer as an example, to prove that the ddr3 ram with ddr5 GPU works.
When i asked him why is bestbuy using incompatible builds as a demo then? he couldn't answer, and wasn't even looking at my eyes or the lady's.
