ive managed to get my haswell chip to 4.6ghz but i usually keep its max state at 1.5, meh.
Just cause i havent personally found liquid cooling worth the effort doesn't make it a meme though, i take that back

Woah you must be doing some insane projecting to come to that conclusion based just off of what I said. I was implying that I throttle it because the amount of performance I could be getting out of the system is more than I need and letting it run at those speeds offers me nothing but a quicker trip to the pc graveyard.
