Anyways...about to run Unigine Valley and see how badass this card really is....runs a hell of a lot cooler than the GTX 580 did...so far, I'm muy impressed

Anyways, here's Unigine Valley...every component in comp at stock speeds...and all background programs running.

Well I broke down and decided on the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 speakers...order right from Klipsch.

Also, on of my brand new WD Caviar Black 1TB's died...after two weeks....so I'm RMAing it..to WD...even tho I could just RMA at Newegg...I feel, that if I RMA with WD...and everyone does the same...they'll get QC back up to pre-flood standards.



/edit Also ordered Cordless Milwaukee Drill-driver, /w 2 batteries and charger, set of brad point bits, and a set of brad pointed spade bits...to do my desk and hutch ...modding

ghot I think it's time for a new surge protector.... and that wall is supposed to be white, right?

The surge protector IS fairly new...and yes the natural color of the wall is cream...but 12 years of smoking ciggs have taken their toll


Also...I ordered a 12x12" Granite/felt bottom Trivet for my new desk...to use as a big coaster for ashtray, coffee cup, etc.

Well, my Milwaukee came today and at least one set of the bits...





...so now, I can house the keyboard and mouse where they are supposed to be





...and tomorrow if all goes well...at the latest Thursday I should have the Hutch built and installed

Update:

Hutch delayed until Friday or the weekend...simply because, the size of this apt. forces me to finish what I start or I don't have room to move around. Also Klipsch Speakers will be here Friday

/e ...and I may need to make modifications for them as well ....much easier to do BEFORE the unit is assembled

FedEx tracking has my Granite Trivet (see post #827 above), arriving today....it's 7:12PM and no Trivet yet ....and it's shipping from Rochester, NY...same time zone


/edit ...also got a new bottom of the line Cricket "dumb phone" ...and the ONLY plastic slip on protective cover they have in the store or online...is a pukey orange pink :/
