You are correct though when you say neither are much into announcing their beliefs to most people especially Wiccans. Wicca was believed to have come from Druidism. Mostly because of their beliefs in multiple gods or entities. It is also considered the worlds oldest religion.
Christianity as a whole is actually quite young compared to Wicca or even Buddhism.
the romans were pantheistic, until Christianity found it's way into politicians and rebranded everything. Christianity has taken many principles from paganism, and has casted out the old names and practice. odd isn't it...
oh about the whole satanism is a pagan religion, i reject that. satanism is an umbrella sect, much like wicca, but within that there are atheistic, theistic and pantheistic beliefs. the usual satanists you'll see are atheistic, typically in church of satan ( LaVey ). i myself am theistic, reside with Leviathan and explore the abysmal mind for power and growth.
