i don't want to start a flame war

it's just that when i first began traversing this forum kids were so amd biased and narrow minded in their bias that it was a little bit frustrating

so now i have taken it upon myself to become the anti-AMD hero CHD deserves, but not the one it needs.

edit: additionally, I would say my analogy is obviously stereotypical, but as with every stereotype..it is based upon some empirical evidence

Not long ago Vittu and I were arguing with some one here about AV receivers / amplifiers. He was one of those who claimed a there was NO difference between a $20 junk yard amp and say, a $100,000 top of the line amp. So according to him you were an idiot for buying a $1000 amp for instance...
