Well, my RTX 2070 just arrived. Just got done registering it with EVGA.
Now all I still need is a DP cable and I'll be set. That's not coming till Tuesday.
A lot of these new vid cards don't seem to have DVI-x connectors anymore. Fortunately my DELL U3011 monitor can take a DP cable. Cause my television ONLY takes HDMI, and the vid card only has one HDMI port.
Also, just reinstalled Windows 10. I seem to have broken one teeny legacy thing (older versions of .NET framework), which I don't really need, but I want it... just in case.
So now, I can unlax until Tuesday. Already installed the latest vid driver as well. I was running a really old driver which I'm not sure would even support an RTX 2070. Better safe than sorry.
So this will be the new build...Windows 10 Home (1909) x64
