144 is indeed much better than 60hz, and for work related stuff there is a noticeable delay with the 60hz (especially if you follow the mouse cursor with eyes, you can really see it). I don't know why you don't accept that.

You claim "it's not lag, it's your eyes adjusting" which is incorrect. It's 100% lag.

Also, for work related stuff, especially professional studio work (game dev, editing w/ photoshop, excel, etc, etc) a 144 will help immensely.
