Plz tell me how ghz doesnt affect speed but you need fast drive doesn't affect compiling compression etc hmm

I am surprised that they have usb and sd card finally

Databases. CPU's are so fast these days even atom would be fine. Almost everything is network or io bound, not cpu.

You still have not provided a laptop that's significally cheaper AND better. Surfpunk was closest with the recommended Sager, that had simillar cpu/ram/screen/disk, but worse gpu and poor battery life and for someone in EU it'd be more expensive than MBP. And even in USA it was only ~$100 cheaper.

Tomorrow I can make battery life screenshot :)

A Mac Pro 1,1 - 3,1 would do exactly what you want just fine and can be had for as little as $100. Drop in a few SSD in raid and you should do fine. Get a 3,1 if you want OS Sierra usability, 8 core, 32+gb ecc ram (CHEAP), r9 280x etc.

I can edit go pro 4k footage with ease on a 1,1 with El Cap, 3ghz 8core 64gb ram r9 280x.
