Anyways new cables down now tv's registering the full 1080p again.
IDK why this tv would not do 1080 on that VGA cable but the last two had no issues.

Before it was like something by 768 and it drove me nuts.

i should have specified, Chinese people like Chinese things as we all know tentacles are Japanese.

Next time you go to a Chinese restaurant, ask to pet their money cat that waves at you.
They might be confused at first since you're not Chinese but then they'll amazed by your knowledge of Chinese culture and will let you touch it.
