Some ppl think the Samsung SSDs aren't worth the price premium. However...the Samsung is only $20 more in the US. Samsung SSDs are made completely by Samsung, are faster and tougher than the competition.

intel, mushkin, adata, sandisk, samsung etc.. all the same shit

what boggles my mind is that i have to install software for my samsung ssd vs every other ssd which is plug and play

Found a i7 2600k + Z77 mobo on ebay for $145 shipped

It's supposed to be arriving today! I'm on a fx 6300 so.. I plan to oc that to atleast 4.4ghz on a v212. It's used.. so hopefully it works but that's the risk I'm taking with ebay! :P

e: I know I am supposed to wait for RyZen, but meh..... I give up

I don't remember 100% but I don't believe the Samsung software is ....required. It's just useful for many.


/e The older 830 and 840 series did have software that was required, which is why after that, Samsung switched to making their SSDs, entirely in house and entirely from Samsung parts.

So far so good, none of the problems that I had with the pny ssd are happening so far. Should've kept the damn spacer that came with it though.
