Anyone install an H7 before?
Replaced my Evo 212 and my temps are whack as fuck right now.
Did it three times and still get the same temps.

Don't ask me about Prime95, the first run it shot up to 85 in seconds and my PC shut down.
Aida64 stress crashed me about 85C, cold boot reading 70C on the CPU, now it's down to 40C.
Randomly jumped from 40C to 60C and it's jumping around, yay me.

Might need a shim if its not snug of try tightening it more.

/edit
or maybe a few washers on back between screen and back plate

When I pulled it off the first time it looked like I over tightened or did it horribly and all the TIM was pushed to the sides avoiding the middle. No contact?
Did it a second time and wasn't happy so I took it off and same time, middle had some paste but it looked like most of it was pushed to the sides.

I'm pretty sure it's on fine but I have it all hooked up again and don't really want to take it off.
I also might just need to clean up my OC some.

1,4,2,3

My ugly OC.

M5A99x EVO r2 Motherboard
Pretty sure if I dropped the VCore's some and tighten it all up I could get it stable at a lower temp, but I'm not so good at that.
Was following this.

Remember to go by the core temp for the Piledriver CPUs.

max. CPU temp 62C
max. core temp 72-74C

/e You are using the right guide.
