I can play at any res I want...this seems fine..can still use desktop.

Be careful, any higher resolution and you might put a work load on your GPU...

I just killed the one with all the spider things, and the next level was the one with the 8 doors leading off the entrance room. I HATE this level.

Great news! Even through the source port: Chocolate Doom, the old ID Software cheat codes, that actually came on the original CD...still work.

Obviously they would.

Also I think they are dev commands and not cheats. My guess was for testing. They crunched a lot at the end. Same with Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. Same with Fable... Crunching video game development is a trend in the industry.

Yeah they were dev codes. But they came on the CD in a file called Cheats.txt.
