You don't lose THC. The heat decarboxylatates the cannabis crystals turning the THCa into THC. Converting it from its acid form into its psycho-active form. Sure grinders knock a few of the THC crystals off, they catch underneath in the kief screen. Any pollen small enough to drop through I save up and turn into hash. Hell. Sometimes I grind and then shake my bud to knock off more if the kief. I have a 20 sided die in the second chamber that rolls around and pushes the kief through the screen.

If you want high THC products you need to move to concentrates.
