Dark Knight has Ceramic Coating, and looks a fuckton better than the 212.

I tested the 212 & Dark Knight with Indigo Extreme on my own system and i got overall lower temperatures with the Dark Knight.
Although the Dark Knight had slighty higher temps than my Medgla

Regardless - One benchmark will always be different to another. EG 3570k Vs 8350

Personally if i were going Air - I'd choose the Dark Knight over the 212 for cooling & aesthetics.
