Two things:

It's costing me $475. Financially speaking, I think I can make that amount of money back on it 2-3 years from now.

I bought the 1070 for $320 shipped (new), and they're both going to arrive around the same time. I've never used anything other than 1080p 60hz so it's going to be very fun for me.

Also; Joined the mionix naos 7000 drop on massdrop, I've had this naos 5000 for ages, Its starting to get a bit worn, Might as well upgrade it with pretty much the same thing :3

I've used both panels and there is NO change in how smooth it transitions... Go ahead post all the threads/topics in the world that say that.

Biggest thing that would make a noticeable difference is Gsync and response time of the panel.
