Maybe. I can make a pretty bitching autonomous race car n shit with the hardware I'm buying, but flying things is funner.

So far it seems my total is around $1000-1200 for a full build at the moment.

Damn. Be my sugar wafu and fix my car.

My job switched us to hourly from salary. This is good and bad. Good because my OT hours are now paid as OT. However, they're saying absolutely no OT. So that's only going to happen in emergency cases. This is bad because now I can't take home work and do it. I have to log my hours so they're going to know if I'm completing trainings, updating spreadsheets, etc when I'm not technically clocked in. I'm unsure how I feel about this. I work hard and get my work done faster than the other employees here in KC and definitely faster than the ones in STL. However, I also have the highest case load and am essentially working two full-time jobs. I'm the only one that does pre-release and post-release. Every other position is just one or the other. So my weeks are split and I have to manage time exceptionally well to ensure I'm getting everything done before the deadline. While my coworkers are hanging out in the game room I'm sitting at my desk or at a coffee shop working my ass off. That sucks, but it does make the time go by fast and I feel satisfied with what I've done at the end of everyday.

I'm also in line for a 3% guaranteed raise in November. That's on top of my bonus and performance raise. We also won two grants that start July 1st so we'll be expanding our office and adding on a second division of our nonprofit. They're going to be hiring a case worker supervisor, two case workers, and one peer support specialist. I'm going to apply for the supervisor position and I"m willing to bet I'll get it. I'm just not sure if the pay is really that much more than what I make now.

I'm thinking about getting a part-time job during the overnight to help pay student loans down. They're becoming a scary reality. Sorry for the long post. Haven't had any human interaction that wasn't an offender in the last two days.
