It's the fact he got lower tier card, when higher tier card is available for cheaper. If u guys can't comprehend that, then there's no hope and probably shd just move along . especially that rand dissing muricans and making himself look worse. :rofl:

Considering you dont rarely tip in sweden, its a very nice gesture (Well across whole europe, its the same.)

In America they pay waiters almost nothing so if we don't tip the waiters and waitresses they can't make a living. So it's almost an obligation to do it or you're an asshole.

I much prefer the European standard where you toss on an extra 5-10% if they were super awesome as a bonus to the waiter if they were nice, fast or courteous.

Actually not always.

The American federal government requires a wage of at least $2.13 per hour be paid to employees that receive at least $30 per month in tips.

There was a great ep of 'adam ruins everything' on it. It dates back to the great depression & store owners telling the help they are cutting their wages, go out & get some tips. (Back then it was considered a bribe/Rude to tip)
