/e If the TX3...yeah you need those plastic brackets that came mounted on the motherboard.

TX3 but like I said I just figured it out. Gah sometimess when you think you're patient, it pays off to be a little more patient

No problem... The TX3 mounts to these black plastic things on the mobo.











Just make sure you get the air flow going this direction...

This is the AMD mounting bracket....for your motherboard, I would put the "locking lever" at the top.











/e You will want the bracket going through the heatpipes like shown in the pic.

There's a setting in the BIOS on the Hardware Monitor tab, called ASUS Q-Fan Control, that allows you to set the speed of the CPU fan.

Well, that's assuming you plugged the CPU fan into the CPU-Fan header on the motherboard. I run mine at 100%, but some like to set a fan "curve", to keep the noise down when not loading the CPU.

Yeah I believe it is set to 100% I'm not as anal about a little bit of sound as others here might be

I was looking at your Speccy screenshot....

IF you have two sticks of RAM, then you have them in the wrong slots. It should say dual channel.

They should be in slots, 2 & 4 counting away from the CPU.
