You're an idiot bro. ^^

They still add to the intake. I don't care if YOU believe it. I tested it myself...it works. I assume it's just dragging more air around the 230mm intake, which is a 230mm with flat sides...it's NOT circular.

lol

you have negative air flow

tested it with your neighbors airflow gauge and duct tape right?

Dude, this is the last time I respond to one of your posts. You have no clue wtf you are talking about, with this case. Deal with it.

lol I understand the fact you are counting intake fans that are pulling air from an acutal intake fan

A little update - with case fans set to full speed and lower ambient temps the GPU doesn't go over 70 degrees C. That's a drop of over 10 degrees just by increasing fan speed and lower room temperature.

I'm thinking of throwing an extra fan or two in there, and getting a fan controller, the fans at full speed we're a bit noisey, but they don't seem to reach the same speed with the settings on normal/auto.

Also whilst messing with fan speeds in the BIOS I found that I can adjust the BCLK. I was under the impression that you used to be able to OC non-K Skylake processors, but then it got stopped, but mine is still adjustable. So I'm thinking of doing a little overclock, currently on the stock cooler though. Is a CM TX3 EVO good enough or do you really need something like a 212?

TX3 cools this much: ........|..................|

Hyper 212 cools this much: |..............................|

Well it turns out that the Hyper 212 wont fit in my case, which has a CPU cooler height limit of 155mm, so I've found a few alternatives which will fit:

BeQuiet! Pure Rock
Thermalright True Spirit
Thermaltake Frio Silent

Those 3 have very similar price/performance to the 212, with some very small differences between them in terms of temps and noise.
At the moment I'm leaning towards the Be Quiet, but that's right on the height limit, the other two are slightly smaller, but seem slightly worse on performance.

From what I've been reading I don't think the TX3 or any of it's competitors will be very good for overclocking.

Any recommendations? Budget ~£30 and needs to be good enough for a light overclock on an i5-6500.

The BeQuiet is the best of the three...cooling wise, by far.

Another alternative which is actually a bit cheaper than the other options is the Zalman CNPS10X Optima, it seems to be a couple of degrees worse than the 212 Evo in most cases, but that's reflected by a £10 price difference.

Well the Zalman has the best heatsink, and it's 3mm shorter than the BeQuiet. But no where does it list the cfm, where as the BeQuiet is 80 cfm.
