Got a bike. They delivered it fully assembled to the dropspot, so I was able to just walk in and ride it back home.

No hydro disk breaks? I guess it is a peasent bike for city riding after all.

Just a FYI as someone who rides a fixed geared bike you're going to probably hate it in a month or so if you live in a hilly area.

My bike but with a matte black frame.

I intentionally bought a bike that wouldn't be that big of a thief-magnet, as I'm going to need to leave it locked outside from time to time.

As for being single-speed, it is my first. It is for city-use only, and fortunately my thighs and calves have some strenght in them. So far any local hills have been a joke, I hope it stays that way regardless of wind etc.

Your bike momma heavy as heck. What gear shift are you using?

It's a nice bike. For a single speed is very clean. Also not everyone likes disk breaks.

It looks TOO good, even for a single speed. It'll still be a thief magnet. :)

What the fuck are you talking about? You've been up my assignment for days and it's annoying. Yes people have preferences between disk brakes and rim brakes. What's the big deal with that?

It's not that heavy. It's a chromoly frame so it's really light. Can easily lift it with one hand over your head.

Oh nice. I still need to buy myself a city bike. One that can traverse the innumerable pot holes and gravel.
