that and don't you run a risk of burning out the pump on hybrids & aios because of the pump being directly on the heat source?

Can't say i've ever heard of something burning out a pump on an AIO because of that...

hybrid already looks like shit, why not go custom
5c is a pretty large temp difference if you consider 95c from 90c etc.
