It seems to detect your monitor automatically if firmware V2 or later is installed with blur reduction activated via the monitor, but if you have an earlier firmware, you would need to buy another piece of hardware or ship it to BenQ to flash it.

How did you get your monitor for that price?

Monitor was made March 2016 from what the sticker says, I hope thats V2.
I turn it on, set it, then close it? Re open it and nothing was applied. Do I not re-open it?

Citibank TYP, $200 in bestbuy giftcards, PC to amazon, selling my old monitor now to make up even more of that difference, total cost to me was about $50~ and waiting.

The OSD should show which firmware you have, but I'm not sure how to use the utility other than needing BR activated.

That makes sense, I was thinking that you got one for less than $100...

have to do a bunch of menu press combinations to show it manually.
