If you can't see the pics...it's temporary...IMGur.com seems to be having early morning issues...

I'm right now charging the battery for my Canon EOS Rebel T4i ...and when it's charged see if I can take an "auto" picture...but I haven't read how to get the image from camera to comp yet lol

Anyways here's a pic of my desktop atm...well a screen shot lol

/edit ...and tinypic ...shrunk my desktop screen shot :/

Things I learned on my first ...lol...photo shoot....

1. In a dark room take off your ball cap before you try to focus....flash popped up and knocked my hat right off.
2. How to get the pics off the camera and to the HDD.
3. That ya hafta turn the camera off, before you hook it up to comp...then turn it on :/
4. Well that's about it...it's back in it's box for now...taking it easy today...prolly gonna be building and modding comp desk...start of next week. Vid card comes Wednesday I think...and my fookin zip ties still haven't arrived.

When zip ties finally arrive...I'm gonna redo all the wiring with the FrozenCPU fan blocks, clean all the dust out of the comp...again...and hopefully by then I'll have read and understood more of the T4i manual...it's a fun one...it's references itself constantly, and even references one of four .pdf files on a CD that came with it...reading this crap is insane. lol

So here's a pic you can easily tell, I didn't take....to tide you over lol

@ghot: do you remember anything about aperture/shutter speed/iso? if so shoot AV mode and set your iso and aperture be hand. just remember to use the lowest ISO you can for your lighting condition because the higher it is the more grainy the pictures will look.

also for the automatic focus there should be a button labeled something like (or maybe its a cross i forgot) up by your index finger somewhere if you hold that and use the dial you can actually set the camera to focus on a specific point rather then "where ever the camera feels like focusing".

also yea i just use the canon software although its junk. you plug it into your computer and turn the cannon on then you click on the file folder in the software and it opens up. alternatively you can just take the sd card out and put it into a card reader which is faster imo.

if you want i can take a crappy phone video of my t2i and show you around the camera with the basic functions and stuff.

holy balls those shots look... LOL

try not to use flash either unless you have to, it washes out reflective surfaces

in low light :

open up the aperture first then slow the shutter speed and mix iso in there as you play with it, if you have stead hands 1/15 shouldnt be a problem but do 1/30 if you have non steady.

higher iso give you more light but it also creates more noise.

ALSO shoot in raw or raw + jpeg. raw give you a lot of post editing control and can fix any shot that too dark/ light etc
