So close to Pascal though.. why? lol

evga step-up program if it's within 3 months
i don't need pascal tbh and the 'halo' card won't launch until way later as is normal with nvidia's new lineups since forever.

figured i'd just get this, upgrade itch from my r9 290.

Way overkill for LoL and prices on 980 tis will drop once Pascal comes out. I'm skeptical that Pascal's high end Ti card will come out within 3 months in time for you to use EVGA step up.

yeah i know, the high end ti card always takes like 4-6 months to come out. not too worried, this will last me ages.

i get to max out gtav and overwatch etc though and make use of some of the nvidia extras like shadowplay for instant replay on overwolf
