Nope. He showed me the pictures of it.. brutal. I'm guessing something went wrong in the chamber because it blew the bolt out and the projectile exited the firearm on the opposite side of the bolt. (Left side of the gun). He wouldn't shoot for a long time after that, even after they replaced it.

They tried to sayusing reloaded shells is what caused it but that wasn't the case. Guess he fought with them over it for a while.

My bro-inlaws cousin was out shooting & loaded the wrong caliber bullet in the gun? I think is what happened. The barrel exploded & a shard of steel went through her forehead & out near her ear. Surprisingly she's doing REALLY well now. Can't really tell she got shot in the head. I saw her a few months back & Didnt even recognize it was her, no visible scars/etc.

Too much chamber pressure. It's caused by too much powder. Had something similar happen when bench firing a 92F with +P+ rounds. Literally blew the slide to pieces. Luckily, no one was close by.
