springfield 40 cal, and ya my mom got into the preppers mood and has are den full of food on shelves.
if i had a basement i would dedicate it. but, that is uncommon here in SoCal. so, i'll aim to keep it mobile ready, with some heavy duty back packs to hold it all if needed.

i wouldn't feel comfortable either. some guys are real idiots with alcohol around and in their system. shooting needs to be about good, fun, clean and safe shootin'.

i had a thread in donor forum "what is your edc" or something like that. was pretty interesting to see such variety. everywhere from just wallet and keys, to EMT's with full on emergency bag, to knife/tools, to concealed carry owners, etc etc.
