I'm hoping that yours will not have a jitter problem:

I haven't bought it ...yet...just thinking about it...I also saw the Mionix mice have even better dpi and only 3 buttons as well. Problem is I'm kinda hard on mice, so until I got this big ass monitor...I would just get 800-100 dpi $15 Logitech mice...like 2-3 at a time... so when one breaks..I have a spare or two.

Until the acceleration issue with the Avago laser sensors is remedied, I will not recommend those unless you would not be bothered by acceleration.

not a 3 button mouse (no one makes them with anything higher then 1000dpi) but the logitec g500 mouse is a good choice if you have bigger hands. although it says it has "10 buttons" it doesnt seem like it as in if you never use them you wont notice them because they are out of your way.

the software for the mouse is only if you want to program macros for the keys or adjust your dpi profiles on the fly. it is not needed.

the scroll wheel has the click style and when you press the button below it it unlocks it so its free flowing.

can be weighted if you find its too light. tbh i use 18.6 grams of weight

Problem is I'm kinda hard on mice, I use up the left and right mouse buttons like no ones business....so spending more than like $15 scares me...I don't wanna hafta start buying $50-$100 mice every 3-4 months lol
I know I won't find a 3000 dpi or better mouse for $15, but I'd like to know it's gonna hold up...one time....pvp on D2 I grabbed mouse to hard and crushed it.

I think I'll call Logitech and suggest that there just might be a market for a high dpi 3 button mouse...lot more companies are switching to bigger monitors for the employees, these days.
