Can anyone shoot me some pairs of $40-60 headphones with a mic to use for moderate gaming as well as music as well as drowning out my roomates obnoxious chewing/ snoring/ breathing?

corsair raptor hs30/hs40 i got, if you find them on sale for 40$ or less, i find them worth it.
tho i'm not an audiophile.

Just got my ATH-A900X headphones today. I do prefer my Beyer DT-880 for comfort, sound stage, and pretty much everything, however, I was in need of a closed-back for isolation.

For $106 they're a steal, though.

I really didn't like my friend's M50 and the A900X, which is in a different tier, was $80 off and I decided to go for that.

I am going to order a pair of HiFi velour pads which should fix the comfort (The feel of pleather).

wut do u mean by tier?

i own m50 and the 700x

700x is a bit loose but m50 r tight
700x have bigger ear cupa, but more highs and not much bass. m50 have more bass compared to 700x with barely any bass.

but their sounds have a noticeable difference

i prefer m50

but 700x isolate sound better

I didn't care for the M50. I found it to be lacklustre and overhyped.

I, personally, consider the A900X to be in a higher tier than the M50 (comfort, sound quality, sound stage, etc.). Two days of using the A900X and I'm liking it more than I did, initially.

Good $100 pair of 2.0/2.1 speakers? Which Dayton was it again? Also it will need 3.5mm jack over pos/gnd wires. (For my buddie's dad.)
