in the market for a new tv
i didnt keep up with that technology tbh
looking for something between 42-46" and 5-600$ if possible.
just shopping nn buying asap

Would definitely try going for a Panasonic / Samsung plasma in the 42-50" size range. Getting hold of plasmas isn't easy anymore since Panasonic quit though.

As for LEDs, I find that most LEDs perform more or less the same (a lot of them do actually share the same panel, for instance LG manufactures the IPS panels for themselves and Panasonic, plus a few more)

Sony's LED range has done really well in reviews in the last year or so, especially noted for having lower input lag than the competition, if that matters for you.

It appears my Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium might just have bit the dust. I am still unsure. Though this does allows opportunity to present itself in the fact that now I can try my ASUS Xonar STX and compare it.  B)

I bought my exwife some a few years back, the vPulse, and they were very nice IEMs imo. I was about to buy this LG bluetooth headphone thing and then I remembered I have my FiiO Alpen E17 right here that needs some use. Perhaps some Velodyne vPulse will complement it all nicely.

nb4 Rikuo lowers the price on his DT990s even more.. QQ (I'll buy them when my school money finally comes in sheesh!)

Awesome :) the Velodyne V-pulse gets a lot of love. Might get them as my new IEMs... Had my Klipsch S4s in my jacket and some one stole the jacket :L

Any one here has experience of SVS subs? I have been thinking on getting a sub for my system and SVS have got some good reviews on their subs, but unfortunately  none of my local stores have them so cant go and listen one. These models were what I was looking for:

http://www.svsound.com/subwoofers/sealed-box/SB13-Ultra
http://www.svsound.com/subwoofers/cylinder/pc12-plus

From Genelec this sub looked decent as well:  http://www.genelec.com/products/7060b/

Any thoughts?

I'm listening to a couple SB-1000's right now and they sound great. One came with a defective amp so I emailed the guy @ Sonicboomaudio (the Canadian retailer) and he had a new one shipped to my door ~ 18 hours later at no cost, took about 3 minutes to hook up the new amp. So I can vouch for the customer service end at least.

Anyone here own/tried Hd600/650?
My wallets peppered D:.

I own the HD600 and it sounded pretty good just out of a crappy soundblaster USB, but sounds great out of Schiit Vali + Modi

your wallet might be peppered for the 600 but are you ready for amp/dac costs

"How I feel, you'll love it, here, take hold of the reigns!"

I might hear, "How I feel, here, you'll love it! Here, take hold of the reins", but I haven't used my Ascend Acoustic speakers since being scratched via a cat, so I hope to hear this from my speakers after repair...
He might be saying, "What's happening to my versus's punching holes in dry walls", too.

I can listen to my Q701 on my S3 without my FiiO E17. :D Only 62 Ohms at 105 dB SPL/V and they get loud. Pretty impressive for a phone consider these are "so hard to drive".

My S4 can play my headphones and many other headphones well as well. But you get much more out of them with good amping. Without amping I'm missing a lot in lows and resolution.

My audio book with all the sounds and music sounded pretty good I thought. No EQ apps or anything.

I dont say they sound bad, but they sound much better with good amping. :) Specially when talking about headphones like Q701.
