for a 300+ dollar board I would feel ripped off xd

if I want to run multiple gpus and do some moderate to heavy overclocking on a 3900x or 3950x then that board is subpar

HA! I'm headed towards that bald status, slowly but surely, without needing to overclock at all.

The 8 pin extension cable finally arrived, so I guess tomorrow is the day.
Hopefully, things will go well with the HDMI cable (to the TV) unplugged. Then just a few BIOS settings and then Windows 10.

Then, getting some old progs to work on Win 10, and about a year of tweaking.

Many of the tweaks are the same so you can just re do them
Could use classic shell also
If you haven't used it, you might love the customization by far from it

Yeah, I like Classic Shell. I used it briefly, and also set up my neighbors comp with it.

Well the new build is up and running. I'm on Windows 10 now.
The problem, as I guessed was the HDMI cable being hooked from vid card to TV, before I had chosen a primary display.

With that unhooked atm, everything was fine. Comp started right up.

I'm still installing tons of crap so, no pics atm. Soon as I get everything installed and Windows 10 updated etc., I'll post pics.
