out of stock meaning shit sold so the economy is doing somewhat ok
no one working is because of this stimulus unemployment and then paying above normal pay to stay home or just as good as pay
and what got labeled as essential businesses is another issue
most of shit is not made here in first place and if its essential then people should still be working and creating goods oh but wait stimulus unemployment is better no work still get paid lol
that is the problem

Panic buying isn't a sign of a strong economy. It's the sign of one that is about to take a hit. Unemployment checks are enough? Is that why people are protesting to get back to work? They can't go back to work because the city or state is shutdown. Where on earth do you live?

You sound most rediculous. The lucky ones work from home. We've had restaurants, theaters, amusement parks, car washes, dog grooming, house cleaning, and more shutdown for awhile now. That's a lot of industries that can't work. Also the Toyota plant is down and so are the plants in Detroit. Manufacturing isn't an essential everyday business until enough weeks go by and there aren't anymore products being produced.

HEB down here gets whatever goods they can. You're lucky if you find toilet paper and blessed if you find alcohol. Other stuff like canned goods are disappearing. Look around you. Leave your basement. :P

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/14/business/coronavirus-airlines-bailout-treasury-department.html

So congress wanted the aid to be grants but Trump turned the grants into a 30% loan repaid over five years. Your Berkeley professor just hates Trump is all. He's doing a good job. That same guy complains Trump didn't do enough but it was the left that wanted open borders and for everyone to hang out together in China town when they were mad Trump called it these Chinese virus.

It's congress that needs to go, not the POTUS.
