Yes. That's called an example. It's also the maximum recommended distance, not the minimum. :rolleyes:
I'm looking at the 1500R monitors. Maximum distance of 5 feet. From the end of my desk to the wall is 36 inches.

So your wall mounting it?
and the panel has zero thickness and the mount is also zero thickness.

Yes the are claiming the edges get distortion because of being farther away/viewing angle

Plus the point i brought up maybe 49 inch Samsung or40inch screen might be worth it but that's still depends on distance away

Then what's the point of having 178 degree viewing angle on panels if they supposedly are getting distorted
Or is it a gimmick lol

Curving doesn't actually help with viewing angles when your further to the side.
It helps with seeing one side better at the cost of the other side.

Also when you go to best buy you will prolly see almost every brand quit making many curved tvs except Samsung
Its almost a thing of the past
