Right, so because you can't name one comparable laptop you'll now try to convince me I don't need fast SSD, I don't need retina display, I don't need battery life, I don't use it for more than few hours or that I should just lift more xD

Please tell me in what way that asus was better? We know it's $200 cheaper, but specs wise it's so behind mbp it's not really fair to compare the two.

Go on, just link me to $300 asus with faster cpu and call it a great victory xD

No no, I was the one asking for single computer that is comparable in specs and cheaper. I am tired of doing it for you since you just keep calling me an idiot for not finding the obvious one. Show me the obvious one that you can really compare :)

From now on stick to the facts, no personal opinions, name calling or anything silly like that.

Okay to keep it simple:
- 10 hours battery life (mbp has 12)
- none of low power cpus. dual core is fine (that $1099 asus was dual core)
- m.2 SSD, even if AHCI (mbp has nvme)
- 8 gb ram
- fullhd display (mbp has retina which is 2560x1600 iirc)
- $1300 or less

make sure to compare cpu with i5-5257U and gpu with Intel Iris Graphics 6100 and post results.

lol oh wow nice cpu and gfx
keep being a hipster and play on your huge ipad with keyboard
I'll keep to better hardware, a vast majority of software and games dating back to the 90s, and not being forced to buy proprietary shit

Okay, so let's end this wonderful discussion at that. This was so good, you sure showed me a lot of alternative computers I could pick instead but I turned out to be stupid apple fanboy who wanted to overpay for absolutely no reason :(

hopefully one day I will realise the greatness of cheap asus with 3 hours battery life, low resolution, slow disk but awesome newest i7. Until then, back to my huge ipad.

lol lets compare to 13inch models only fuck you must be some kind of special

many others with better specs lower price but you want cherry picked results for niche fanboy market

"many others" but you failed to link me to a fucking single one
Can be 15" too. Go on, find one with 10 hours battery, comparable cpu, gpu and disk.

If you can't find one, then just don't post.

The current macbook pro is seriously outdated. It's from 2013

Now imagine with this gen cpu and gpu. Either a r7 1800X or 6900k plus 1080ti and it will still be cheaper than the mac pro.

are we talking about the macbook pro or mac pro?
