See what you did there? You dodged again.

The issue ONCE again isn't whether or not they perform better, is it worth the potential $400+ price tag, added heat, added noise, added power consumption, for a few fps more?

Answer the question.

This isn't a question that can be answered. It's all up to the end user to decide if they want the small increase in performance or some more money in their wallet.

VGA Charts Spring 2011
Published: April 30, 2011

Oh look old outdated shit

From the article:

We look purely at reference (baseline) performance, as it is a tremendous task to keep these charts updated. Please bare in mind that due to driver revisions and passing time it is very possible that a card measured 4 months ago could be say 5% faster now due to driver optimizations. At all times keep that in mind. We also include some multi-GPU results and as you will notice, sometimes that 2nd GPU didn't kick in, while a new driver revision might have already fixed it. Charts as shown today as such are Pandora's box.

performance is performance...heat is non issue..there are softwares to adjust fan speed....wattage is non issue...every time you microwave some pizza rolls you use more wattage than 6 comps with 4 580's in each :/

It all boils down to one thing....

IF you feel the need for speed you go NVidia...if not...who cares what you think :D

/e and to be honest I'm not an nVidia fan boy...I'm an EVGA fan boy , an ASUS fan boy and an AMD CPU fan boy ^^

While I'll agree the heat isn't a huge issue, a microwave using 1500Watts for oh lets say 3 minutes isn't the same thing as 4 gtx 580's constantly pulling a lot of wattage.
