seems to me they are trying to clear out some of the big stock of certain processors, which means perhaps, new processors soon? ^^ (have heard the AM3 socket 3.2 ghz Phenom 2 is set to release the 20th)

just a sale.. it doesnt' mean they'll stop making x3 710 and x4 940. that's just stupid of amd to do that.
