I have all of the X-File on my HDD, and I finally found a list where they separate out the everyday ones from the truly good ones which were about the aliens etc.

So finally I can sort them and for the first time, ever, watch just the alien ones, which was really the best part of the original 9 seasons.

The episodes with the ‡ symbol are the alien ones. Which was really what the show was all about. The rest were good, but just filler.

I know, but way back in early 2015 they had announced that this would only be a 6 episode arc. I mean the characters have to be be getting old by now.

Well got all the "alien" ones marked now.
So one day, when nothing is going on, I can watch them straight through...just the "alien" ones, without all the filler episodes....I'm stoked.


/e I mean 95% of all the episodes were good, but there was 9 seasons and they spread the "alien" ones out through all the seasons.
I'd say on average about 4-6 per season were the "alien" ones

You need to watch them in order. It's one of the best series television has ever seen.

Oh, I agree, must be watched in order. BUT, after you've watched them in order 100 times or so....then you can be decadent, and just watch the "alien" ones, cause you already know all the "character" developments.

After all, that IS the real story as portrayed by the X-Files.

I have never gotten tired of watching them.

Me neither. But some of the filler ones, I could do without.

I don't remeber the name of the episode, but there was one about a family living in the same house with no utilities, since the civil war, and doing all kinds of NSFW crap inside....and no one ever knew. Way too gross, except for the 1st time.

Or the one where the priest could turn into a snake. Little too far fetched for me.

Grrrrrrr, now gotta wait for the stupid post game wrap up.
