LOL, I know. But Tiff Needell is a race car driver. That doesn't count either. Race drivers are surrounded by other good drivers.
Trust me on this, you learn to drive in PA, you can drive anywhere. Even surrounded by idiots.

Well you did throw a celebs name in so I threw mine in.

Europeans are hands down the best drivers.

I've met ~5-6 people here I would hold my life in their hands if they were to go on a track.

Other wise FUCK NO

Come where I am in PA. There's all kinds of road hazards. Steep dropoffs, deer, Amish and idiot drivers. There's just nothing like going down a 15% grade and somebody decides they're going to slide right in front of you.

I think tracks are easy, compared to the 1.5 lane roll top roads around here. Anywhere else I've ever driven is like a Mall parking lot at 2am in the morning.
Gotta remember these roads in PA, are like the old European roads...they all used to be horse and carriage roads, that just got paved (sort of) later on.

I've driven in 49 of the 50 states (excluding Hawaii), in Mexico, France, Spain, Germany....dirt, gravel, sort of paved, paved...trees right at the edge of the road etc.

But I learned to drive in PA, the land of tiny roads, snow, ice, potholes and hills.

/e European drivers are good, without a doubt, for much the same reason, but PA drivers are no less skilled.

- This is on Nurburgring (I would be too scared to drive there at high speeds)

- All time fav track.

Going slow is much easier than putting your balls on the table for a lap record
