funny i was thinking yours looked really high considering i was 200 mhz over yours.
that screenshot is with nvidia shadowplay running. but i turned shadowplay off and my score wasn't different. (lower actually, technically :P)
Initially i ran this with a ton of stuff in background. but i closed it all and restart, re-ran, and got same score. so idk :(

as for fire strike, i think not everyone has it, but i agree, I like that more since it shows more scores. ^_^

ill do a fresh boot close everything and just max fan speed and show you what i get in a bit
then i'll redo w/ +500 on memory but no core oc

stock core & memory, power limit maxed (no power throttling pls) & fan maxed

stock core, +500 memory, power limit maxed & fan maxed

i wanna know why my best results keep going up and up even without me changing anything from the last cause i got 106.4 the last time with no core change and the same +500 memory
maybe i wasn't increasing the power limit?

did some benches, gonna continue my benching and logging tomorrow or later tonight or something but it's boring af

bench 1
+20core (1425mhz), stock memory
+0mv, auto fan, +115% power limit
fps: 103.5, score: 4329
min: 42.4, max: 197.2

bench 2
+30 core (1435mhz), stock memory
+0mv, auto fan, +115% power limit
driver & valley crash, no artifacts
no data to list

bench 3 (i should have rebooted after driver crash on run2 realistically, i think the minimal change in score from +20 might have something to do with that)
+25 core (1430mhz), stock memory
+0mv, auto fan, +115% power limit
fps: 103.6, score: 4333
min: 42.4, max: 197.8

bench 4 (needed to reboot after driver crash on run 2)
+30 core (1435mhz), stock memory
+12mv, auto fan, +115% power limit
fps: 103.7, score: 4338
min: 40.5, max: 200.1

bench5 (needed to reboot after driver crash on run 2)
+35 core (1440mhz), stock memory
+12mv, auto fan, +115% power limit
fps: 104.0, score: 4353
min: 42.9, max: 198.8

any time i get a driver crash from now on i'll reboot for the sake of consistency & to keep cpu/ram usage down

Well actually i just realized that valley actually said the wrong clocks. Im sitting at 1337 boost clock, not 1600 or w.e
now does my score make more sense? o.o I guess to test that you could just downclock to my level and see what you get.
still only getting 3900 at 1249/1337 boost, 2003 memory.

Also, which 980 ti comes stock at 1405 mhz ?

Yeah i had no idea, i dont use valley.
I use heaven and fire strike as my staple benchmarks, and to be honest, i cant even tell you if heaven displays your clock/memory (im sure it does, just saying, i cant recall based on how little i pay attention to it.)

Either way, hope my scores not too crazy off, it would appear to be about right... im off by about 10% in terms of mhz, and my score is about 10% different.

Although im still curious which card he has that comes so high clocked out of the box.

it boosts to 1405 because of gpuboost

do you think gpuboost adds some weird voltage and makes oc's unstable because of its automated setting?
cause if i can disable it and manually oc i will.
looks like it's a non disable-able thing tho

Ah right boost.
So i did some more tweaking. I first tweaked my gpu boost in gpu z to be 1400, but it was actually boosting to 1500 while benching....so i was unstable even with max power/voltage.
cranked it down to 1352 and it was running about 1410 and below - still only achieve 4100.
maybe im slightly unstable or something, but even without instability, my scores are a good 10% lower than yours, so not sure whats going on.
