My new American Express credit card is on it's way :)

Got this offer: http://slickdeals.net/f/8095484-amex-blue-cash-everyday-250-offer and was instantly approved when I applied for it. Time to buy that second GTX 980 Ti when it gets here.

Also have an Icemat 2nd edition glass mousepad on the way too. Gonna be my backup in my case my current one chips or breaks.

Credit Karma has me at 788. My credit is pretty good and I don't do more than 2 hard pulls on it every 2 years.

What does your credit start off at? I got my first credit card a few months ago, but only used it like once.

Takes like 6 months after your first card, To get your first credit score.

Depends on how you use the card / Pay it off / balance / etc.


I just started on credit about a year ago, My score is pretty shit atm lol

My credit card is still a student one, cos I lost it a year ago and they gave me a new one with another 5 yr expiry. So I don't have any fees to pay, only downside is I get 1% cash back instead of 2

Getting back 500-700$ a year is guzi tho

You spend $50,000-$70,000 a year as a student? That's how much you'd need to spend t o get $500-700 in cash back a year at 1% cash back.
