Walked down the street from my office to grab coffee from this local coffee house in Westport. The owner asked me if I have Google Fiber. I told her yes, but our office, for some reason, uses AT&T. When I asked her why she told me she was taking a poll. I inquired about that and she said, "Ever since Google sold their internet services I've been having trouble." She was implying that Google sold their Fiber service and is no longer the owner. Having not heard of this, I told her I'd have to Google it and see for myself. I couldn't find anything. Anyone heard of these shenanigans occurring?

That makes no sense. Google laid the fiber and someone else manages it?

That's what I was thinking. It doesn't make sense for Google to sell off this early. They're laying the infrastructure and are going to reap vast rewards. I'm not sure what she was talking about. It was a really awkward exchange between the two of us, mostly because of her. Maybe she was trying to hit on me and wasn't doing a good job. Who knows. I wore my sweater today that makes my head look like it's coming out of a vagina. Maybe that turned her on.

Must be baby crazy.

About a week ago I read something about this. Google selling or maybe leasing to AT&T, some of it's Google Fiber infrastructure. Unfortunately I can't remember where I read it.
Can't even remember if it was rumor or fact waiting to be agreed upon.
