I know the drawbacks to be honest, I work at Samsung inside of best buy and there a few people with Bachelors degrees working at best buy and the full time lead at Samsung as well. That being said even if it isn't helpful right now, it will be in a couple years.
People laugh at my job but it looks good on a resume!
I'm a big believer in drive. A lot of people graduate college and expect to get great jobs right away. This isn't the case unless you were exceptionally good at networking or you already have the connections. If you work through school and garner experience before you graduate, it's very likely you can land a very nice paying job. You just need the drive. Also, a lot of my friends have gotten jobs after college and they're stagnant. They complain about money/bosses/etc. They aren't looking for other jobs. You should always be looking for bigger and better jobs or opportunities that will better suit you. You will be surprised how quickly you can move up and how much money you can make.
Now, this advice is probably unwarranted and unwanted, but it's yours for free.
