Just had my college transcripts sent to me, see how close I am to my AA

Doesn't seem like much to a lot of people but a big deal to me.

Stopped going to school for like 4 years because of work, which is dumb but thinking about going back and finishing my AA then looking at programs that fit well so I can work at the same time. Even if its just a class a quarter will be worth it.

Hey congrats dude! Any amount of college can make a big difference over having no education. Keep after it and post a SS of the degree. Also make sure you can get any certifications upon graduation since you should qualify for those too.

Idk man im in school right now and looking at what all my friends are doing and the money they're making already and shit.. idk if it's worth these days.

Why retire after twenty years? That's when your at the high point in your career. You've learned twenty years worth of skills at a particular skill set, "usually".

Look at Todd Howard, Bethesda's head director. He has been with Bethesda since 1994 so that places him twenty years in his current career path.

Though he isn't the average story and this point is skewed.

I know the drawbacks to be honest, I work at Samsung inside of best buy and there a few people with Bachelors degrees working at best buy and the full time lead at Samsung as well. That being said even if it isn't helpful right now, it will be in a couple years.


People laugh at my job but it looks good on a resume!
