I need to learn to do this. I'm not sure if my colors are off or not, though... it's a little bright, but I've been staring at a broken dvi cable for 2 years.

I don't exactly remember what purple, blue, etc are supposed to look like.

It's not just monitor calibration. Having colors managed implies a whole workflow as I had to check myself.
