Mother of God. How did I miss that?

@Ghot: I thought about file cabinets. However, this is a space that needs to be professional and pleasant to look at. As much time as my girlfriend and I will be spending at this desk combing over textbooks, writing our thesis, etc... It really needs to be an area that we can unwind, relax at, and not be an eye sore. Still trying to find adequate shelves for the base now.

They also make nice wooden file cabinet pedestals.....finding on 25" deep is hard though
