Can't justify buying a second pair of headphones. Plus, I'd want to be able to try them on first. Fit is key (along with sound quality). I almost spent an extra $100 on the Bowers & Wilkins P7s, and even though they had better sound quality than the HD598s, the comfort was not quite the same. Especially since I'll be wearing them over my glasses.

Was joking, I agree. Been using my MDR1Rs for few days now. These feel like heaven on ears. Going to try that dynamat mod, if it gives bass a little more kick. Otherwise, for what music I listen mostly, these are prefect. Best spent 220€.

Any suggestions on a desktop mic for pc that doesn't pick up a lot of background noise? I'm using it for gaming so i'd like to avoid that if that's even possible. I was about to buy a headset until I saw this thread so now I think i'll try out the suggestions here.

If you got money to spend, blue snowball. If not, zalman clip-on does the job and is under 10$. :)
