WOW! Being a Vet on Veteran's Day is cool. Half the restaurants and all the bars in my area, have free stuff for Vets.

Just got a whole meal at Applebee's, and every bar in town will give ya one free drink as well. Wonder what would happen if I told them it was my Bday as well. Lol

Thats cause there was a loop hole.
You didn't have to have a license to sell drinks if you gave them away.
so a lot of places started selling liek stickers or buttons at venues for like 5$
then gave you a free drink so that was put in place to stop it.

Friends was telling me about it awhile back.

Ty all, and just cause I know you're curious, I went to Applebee's with the landlord (also a vet) and we both got the The American Classic hamburger and fries.
Which, I'm gonna eat right now. :)


We got them to go...the place was packed to the gills. :)

I'm at Texas Roadhouse myself. I missed the free veterans meal, ended at 1600, but I'm getting my steak and bourbon anyways.
